Where is/are my ...(fill in the blanks)

I am a catalogue freak...ask anyone that knows me and has been to my home...
sadly some great mail order companies have come and gone but one of my favourites from the past has only changed focus from mail order to more of a design house.

Located at 10 West 56th Street in NYC, Felissimo Design House is everything I dream about and so much more. Aside from being a great place for awe inducing inspiration ... they also have a great shop from which you can purchase some darn nifty goodies!

These finds are on my current office wish list. It's all about texture and each of these little felt creations are loaded with fantastic felted wool goodness!

Ranging from only $10-$15 a piece these office accessories are sure to help you organize while satisfying that need for good design!

The line comes in your choice of 6 scrumptious colours:

  • lemon zest
  • meringue
  • citron
  • lemongrass
  • keylime
  • primavera

Check them out live in NYC or online at... http://www.felissimo.com/designhouse/felicitionline.cfm

Organizing our thoughts on current events

Sorry that PGG hasn't been updated in a few weeks. The recent hurricane in New Orleans has left all of us feeling a little disorganized emotionally. In trying to get a handle on our feelings of helplessness I have witnessed some remarkable acts of benevolence from what I assumed were unlikely sources. I was holding a bake sale in my community and during the sale a 14 year old girl asked me if we were still taking donations of baked goods. An hour later she arrived with chocolate chip banana bread & ginger snap cookies straight out of her oven. She also brought two jars of the best home-made lemonade I have ever had. Her mother stopped by later to tell me how her daughter had left my bake sale and gone straight to the store on her bicycle in order to pick up supplies to make these things. Those are the moments that give me hope for the next generation. There are some really great kids living beside us, below us, or with us and we need to recognize and honor them for their depth and caring. These kids will someday run our world.
