This came straight through for the latest Bauer Newsletter!

It's always quite satisfying to find a killer bottle of wine priced under $10, and we're always looking for wines that are underpriced and not quite discovered yet. We've just come across 3 great values that probably won't stay at these prices for very long, so we're striking while the fire is hot! We hope you'll find these recent finds as rewarding as we do...

2004 Finca Luzon "Luzon" (Jumilla/Spain)
Do not hesitate to jump on this great Spanish bargain because it just received a 90 Point score from Robert Parker's Wine Advocate. 65% Mouvedre and 35% Syrah, this is a big and jammy wine with hints of licorice, creme de cassis, and earthy truffley spices. An incredible concentration of flavor for a $9.00 wine, pair this beauty with lamb sausage or manchega cheese and olives.

Reg: $10.99 On Sale: $8.99 Case: $98.89

2002 Casa Viva Pinot Noir (Chile)
Due to the overwhelming success of the movie Sideways, new Pinot's are popping up everywhere...and as a consumer, you must be wary! Our search for good Pinot Noir took us to Chile, where we discovered the phenomenal Casa Viva. It's everything a good Pinot should be: smooth and silky, with flowery aromas and a good dose of plums and cherries. Serve this as a cocktail red or with smoked salmon as well as lamb kebabs with rice.

Reg: $11.99 On Sale: $9.99 Case: $109.89

2004 Domaine Celestin Blondeau Sauvignon Blanc (Loire/France)
Nothing quenches your thirst better than a nice chilled glass of Sauvignon Blanc, especially if it's from the Loire Valley. The flavors are crisp, clean, and refreshing with just the right amount of bite. Blondeau, whose wines we have always loved, has just introduced this Sauvignon Blanc sourced from young Sancerre and Pouilly-Fume vines, and it is, in a word, absolutely delicious. Perfect with a goat cheese salad, fresh local catch, and grilled zucchini.

There was also a recent NY TImes articles about wines under $10. They have a list 10 wines they rated that are under $10. I wish I could remember the date, but you can find all of their wine columns at www.nytimes.com/wine.
