Well, for most of us life has meant a paycheck that comes at noon and by 12:01 is two-thirds gone thanks to mortgage and rental payments, telephone and utility bills, school loans, car payments, and those horrible credit card debts that we work so hard to pay off.

This doesn't leave us much to wiggle around with. Consequently, even though we know that money doesn't buy true happiness, we spend alot of time weary of the paycheck struggle because we feel we can't have that great pair of designer jeans, a gourmet meal, travel to exotic places or even not so exotic places. Our apartments or homes never really come together because that Eames chair is quite frankly out of all of our budgets. This guide is for all of us.
